Developed responsive, custom WordPress websites for local restaurants and integrated an online ordering system with their existing POS platforms.
Restaurants lacked an effective digital presence and had no seamless way to connect online orders with in-house POS systems, leading to manual errors and lost efficiency.
I designed and built custom WordPress themes tailored to each restaurant’s brand and optimized the sites for mobile-first usage. To support online sales, I collaborated with developers to integrate third-party APIs with the restaurant’s POS, ensuring real-time synchronization of menu items, orders, and inventory. I also documented the integration requirements and edge cases to support engineering during implementation.
The new websites delivered consistent branding, mobile-friendly ordering, and real-time POS integration. Restaurants gained a fully functional online sales channel, reduced operational errors, and improved order processing efficiency, resulting in a measurable boost in online transactions.
